Harvard has set an example for other higher-ed institutions - rejecting an unlawful and ham-handed attempt to stifle academic freedom, while taking steps to make sure students can benefit from an environment of intellectual inquiry, rigorous debate and mutual respect. Let’s hope others follow suit.

I don't know how often things like this happen, but given the mechanisms in place to silence the victims of these practices, I suspect we weren't the only ones. I don't know what to do about it, or how to fix it. All I know is that I am finally sharing her story.
