In 2005, my mom died from cancer, but the real cause was the actions taken by an insurance company 12 years earlier. What happened to her was evil, hard to identify or fight, and hidden from the public by legal mechanisms. Because of that, I have no idea how often it has happened.

Tonight I paid for a soda with a credit card that I spent several seconds searching for inside a package of salami
Got home, poured myself the soda, thought about what a silly brain moment that had been! Maybe a minute or so later, I suddenly realized I was drinking the soda out of a cereal bowl

I definitely have some redundancies in the soccer apps category but in this instance it feels great.

Today was 3 weeks working for Favorited.com, a new social video platform that believes a lot of the things I do: social means interaction rather than consumption, creators deserve to keep most of their earnings, trust & safety matters and requires resources. Definitely preferring it to doing nothing

I just met a man whose dog was diagnosed with lymphoma, so he has taken a leave of absence from work, bought a Sprinter van, and is going to just road trip with his dog to various nature destinations around the country for as long as his dog lives, and I am just floored by how beautiful this is
