I did an event in DC & there was a party for donors etc after. Was talking to 2 ppl & I said "Things are so bad." They said "No this is how it is. Things swing one way, then another. It's normal."

This is the year I finish the novel I've been working on since 2020. Last year was supposed to be the year but life had other ideas (daughter's wedding and an unexpected heart transplant -- so much drama!). So this year is definitely the year, I swear.
