This whole thing around The Medium is insane because its detractors will see someone take away a positive interpretation from the game and then vehemently get upset at them for this. Why would we want to push one singular """harmful""" interpretation as correct if others are possible?
sometimes i question why i'm still working on my video about 'the medium' and then i see people desperately trying to repair the game's reputation with half-baked plot summaries and my doubts disappear

- The game will be playable on Switch 2 through backward compatibility and will benefit from the console's specs.

- Other platforms (PC, Steam Deck, PlayStation 4 & 5, and Xbox Series X|S) will have a solid 60 FPS experience.

I've always hated the term "shovelware" for gaming, and to me it defines the space where criticism and fandom in the medium lags EPOCHS behind film culture in terms of ability to appreciate and engage with itself. You can't ONLY "count" blockbusters and 'approved' art-pieces.
Y'know what? To spite the people that claim that I'm pushing shovelware, here's a whole bunch of great discounted games that have under 100 user reviews.

We’ll never get a good film adaptation of Hitman because a) people perceive it as an action franchise and b) no one has the confidence to make a video game adaptation where the protagonist is a remorseless professional assassin that never has a change of heart but isn’t the villain.

The sentiment I'm seeing brewing is "if 1 person can make this good game that I like, then how come 300 hundred people made a game that I dislike?"

It's the same sentiment that made hat guy feel like the killer move was going on stage to talk shit about other devs. It's gross and weird.
