I think this Maccabi Tel Aviv stuff will prove to be a watershed moment for many who aren't sure where their political home is. I cannot now, in good faith, consider backing the Lib Dems, let alone Labour. The disingenuousness, the gaslighting, I can't stand it.

I think it's got to be the Greens.

In a world with finite resources and 8 billion human beings, for one person to hoard enough to sustain 80 million people is an act of violence.

He really, really hates people with brown skin doesn't he. It's uncomfortably cliche and simplistic to say so... but he is uncomfortably cliche and simplistic.
Thanks for your vote of confidence…I guess?!

Unlike you, I’d actually be focused on the American people—the issues they’re facing, making sure folks have healthcare, and consulting with Congress before dropping bombs on another country.

On the populist right, fear causes irrational belief, but on the moderate left, fear causes irrational disbelief - when life is full of Hyde Park bike rides and Waitrose quinoa, conspiracy theories threaten your comfort. When life is unfair, such theories are no threat - they affirm your reality.

The difference between MAGA and Islamist fundamentalists is about as significant as the difference between the Milwall Bushwackers and the Inter City Firm. If you studied their brains they'd be identical.

Give it 10 years and the Sensible Liberal Centrists® might look into this. Obviously they won't step outside their comfortable pro-institution ideological framework or dare to say anything that isn't in-vogue or that suggests conspiracy, but the Overton window might eventually take them there.
