Even though it is a really expensive, polluting, dying industry and is the worst fuel for climate change, Trump is pushing to revitalize the coal industry.
For Trump, we all need to pay more today to ensure that future climate devastation is even more lethal.

Trump's decision to stop construction on Revolution Wind — which was ~80% complete and would power more than 350,000 homes — is just the latest reckless wastefulness from this destructive administration.

The project was already 80 percent complete and slated to provide enough energy to power more than 350,000 homes.

During the campaign Trump said repeatedly that Russia and China aren't our enemies, that the enemy is within. Well, if the enemy is within, that means Trump's enemy is the American People. Trump's war on the American People has begun with likely support from Russia, China and North Korea.

Overheard from MAGA Trump supporter: "Trump took away my food and health care, but at least he raped children with Epstein. What a selfless act! Maybe, if I'm lucky, he'll rape my kids too."

The Democratic Party is the resistance. Everyone opposed to Trump needs to stop complaining about the Democratic Party as if it is some external object that we have no control over. We are the Democratic Party. If we have a problem with the Democratic Party, it is up to us to address it.

The GOP has become the Putin Pedophile Protection Party. If you're aren't a billionaire pedophile or Putin, you're no longer welcome in the GOP.

This is a partisan moment. There is one thing standing in the way of Trump's authoritarian rule. The Democratic Party. Everyone opposed to Trump must become a partisan democrat today. Those that refuse are just aiding and abetting Trump.

I've been thinking a lot lately about Epstein's statement that he and Trump were best friends for over a decade. Epstein was one of the most prolific and notorious pedophiles in history and Trump was his 'best' friend. What did Trump and Epstein do together to cement such a lasting bond?

While fossil fuel companies are just trying to make a buck, Trump is motivated by cruelty. When Trump dreams of the millions who will suffer in the future because of his destructive climate policies, it delights him.

Plane rides getting bumpier?

Guess what’s to blame: climate change. (and thus… #BigOil.)

“We can expect a doubling or tripling in the amount of severe turbulence around the world in the next few decades,” said Professor Paul Williams, an atmospheric scientist at the University of Reading.”
Why plane turbulence is really becoming more frequent and severe
Flights are getting bumpier, thanks in part to climate change. But new studies are looking into innovative potential ways to turbulence-proof wings - using AI and owls

There's only thing standing in the way of Trump's authoritarian takeover: the Democratic Party. Anyone who isn't a partisan democrat right now will be held accountable for all the atrocities Trump is committing. You need to pick a side. Become a partisan Democrat today.

Think about what the GOP is revealing with their attempt to suddenly change the Congressional maps: they know their agenda is so unpopular that they're going to lose unless something changes.

Of course, what they should be changing is their policies, not the maps.

The discourse surrounding precipitation changes in a warming climate (both public discussion and even scientific one at times) is complicated by widespread conflation of changes in averages vs extremes (and also actual vs *potential* evaporation/evaporative demand). [Thread]

But let me be clear: Increasingly extreme downpours are one of the clearest meteorological manifestations of a warming atmosphere. This is already detectable in most place with adequate records (including eastern US); it will almost certainly become so elsewhere sooner vs later.
