Business owner, mum of 5. Love dogs, nature, horses, solitude. Gardening for wildlife and people. Angry, anxious about climate crisis, greed, bigotry, ignorance. Fibromyalgia and ADHD. Live in a house of neurodivergence and dodgy mental health. Norfolk UK.
Me! #OnThisDay 17th November 2001. A beautiful beach in Goa. We stayed in a hut on stilts with palm leaf walls and roof. It was unspoilt and glorious. We were woken in the morning by monkeys jumping on the roof.

#OnThisDay 16th November 2024. Aldo being a good boy, waiting for me to catch up on a lovely walk at Dersingham Bog.

The Labour Government reeling off the same far-right talking points on immigration. And look who is celebrating. The far-right.

There is a political alternative that won’t ever scapegoat those fleeing war, persecution and torture

I wish that I could show you when you are lonely or in darkness the astonishing light of your own being. Hafiz

And I'm only posting this now as he looks so comfy cuddled up and I wish I was still asleep too.

Sunday alarm clocks are grim.

The leader isn't Labour's problem

Their problem is that people elected them to reverse the damage done by the Tories

Whereas they just carried on doing more damage

They need to tax wealth and invest in public services

And challenge the oligarchs dominating our economy

And focus on fairness

Steve Reed has told Labour MPs to vote down amendment to the new planning bill intended to protect British wildlife and its habitats from destruction.

First Swifts, now hedgehogs and dormice. Nothing is sacred... just betrayals by this govt at every turn

#OnThisDay 15th November 2019. More chicken in the house shenanigans. One of our hens peeping around the door frame held, out of sight by my 12 year old daughter.

#OnThisDay 13th November 2016 A lovely walk in the woods near us. The same woods that the den photo I shared a few days ago was taken. These were taken after our walk in the car. Fun family days with feral kids and dogs. 😍

I’m looking forward to listening to this episode. I have three teenagers whose mental health was massively affected by the changes in the education system started by Michael Gove in 2010, just in time for my lot to start school!
Our education system isn't working.

Natasha Devon breaks down exactly how we got here in tomorrow's episode of Bold Politics with Zack Polanski.

#OnThisDay 12th November 2024, Aldo watching TV whilst holding a small soft toy. I can’t remember the program but it was likely ‘Dogs behaving badly’ which is one of his favourites.

#OnThisDay 11th November 2017, 11 year old twins in a den on a walk in local woods. These dens are made by the local kids and added to/altered regularly. I wish life was still so simple.

#OnThisDay 10th November 2016, my daughter with one of her hens. We used to rehome ex commercial hens when they came to the end of their profitable lives - only about 18 months. Our eldest one lived to 9 years old. I’m not sure which one this was but E would be able to name her. ☺️

#OnThisDay 9th November 2019 it was a very frosty morning in Norfolk. This is the gorgeous pattern created by nature on our flat roof.

#OnThisDay 6th November 2021, a slightly annoyed looking bluetit being gently held in my daughter’s fingers. She was training, under licence, to ring birds for scientific research. They are released unharmed after weighing, measuring and recording. Bluetits are one of the most feisty, bitey birds.
