Shopping all arrived. Unusually I'd ordered treats. I've nearly finished the millionaire's shortbread minis already 😁

The shortbread has oats in so it's basically a healthy snack 🤭

I've dug out my 2 magnifyers, the blue one has a choice of lights and a cord for round my neck so that will be great for sewing 😁

Lots of rain here.
I've had a shower and am hoping to shake this glumness off.

Once I got over the relief of it not being a brain tumour or I was going blind, I was left with being realistic about coping with new migraines and increasingly blurry sight. It's grief of a sort, but I'll adapt 🤷‍♀️

I'm still waking at 6am so that's good.

I've had one coffee, I need another

I promise I will try and wake up happier tomorrow. Thank you for tolerating me 😘

How did Canada lose it before the US? I'm stunned!

This is the last proper watercolour painting I did, last December. I really love these roses but I never finished them, and can't now.

I will again x

I am feeling a bit sad, but here's some other stuff I did, I will be able to do it again, but not just now
November 10, 2025 at 7:42 PM
As it will be a good while until I can make anything detailed i thought I'd show you some of my past freestyle embroideries 😁
November 10, 2025 at 7:25 PM
Oh Canada! Really..
November 10, 2025 at 6:26 PM
I'm going to stop whinging and go and make patchwork.

In the meantime here's the oven pad i made, that upset me. Just don't look too closely at the binding 😁

Looks like I'm entering the countdown of what I can no longer do.

Today I've discovered that I can't unpick sewing any longer, the stitches are just too small to see 🙄

Blimey just added some wool to vinted and it's all sold already! Might price it a bit higher next time.

I have a distinct memory of talking to the dunnocks in the garden when I was small. The bird, in my memory, is the size of one of those large grapefruit, so I must have been tiny.

A wonderful assortment of birds in the garden this morning.

House Sparrow
European Robin
Dunnock
Wren
Goldcrest
Blackbird
Eurasian Blackcap
Starling
Chaffinch
Jackdaw

Good morning 👋

I've been trying to go to bed early and get up at 6, and so far it's working. I much prefer these quiet mornings when the world is asleep to endless hours of evening.

Might finish my cards today
November 10, 2025 at 6:23 AM
My eyes are very blurry today so even painting straight lines is a challenge, but I've done some stripes and when they are dry will cut them into Christmas tree shapes 😊
November 9, 2025 at 11:54 AM
A poppy in the hope that people properly remember what extremism causes 🙏
November 9, 2025 at 10:30 AM
I'm making Christmas cards today, not the roses I wanted to do because obviously my eyes won't allow for that, instead a simple design. I will post pictures in a bit 😁
November 9, 2025 at 9:18 AM
Saw my hedgehog a couple of nights ago but couldn't film her so here's a film from a few months ago 🦔
November 9, 2025 at 9:00 AM
I also made my superb meatloaf today, ham hock and sausagemeat and apple sauce etc, so I'm off to have a slice in a roll and go to bed.

Sleep well xx

Have sold enough on vinted in the last week to fund another 2 weeks of therapy 😊

So between you lovely people and those sales I can fund the therapy up to Christmas which is amazing! Thank you x
