Yay! We had a bit of sunshine today. Enough for the solar garden lights to charge up.
Enjoy your dinner. 😊

A very big gull, flying high above the hedge. I thought at first glance it was a red kite it was so big. Probably herring or greater black backed. #FirstBirdOfMyDay

Bit of a sore point here in the UK at the moment. 🀣

#OnThisDay -today! Another date when I haven’t got a single photo in my files, other than the electricity meter and the home WiFi wireless key. Here is one I took today: a side table/log holder, hand made by my son for his Auntie. 😍

We used to have a little dog who loved to climb trees. 😁

She looks so pleased with herself! 😍

A female blackbird hopping around on the boggy swamp which used to be my lawn, looking for breakfast. #FirstBirdOfMyDay

#OnThisDay 7th February 2025. Aldo helping me to show the size of a willow basket I was offering to my daughter.

Oh I’ve missed the skylarks. #FirstBirdOfMyDay was two rooks pacing out the verges around our local maccies. I love the way they swagger along in their baggy pantaloons.

#On ThisDay 6th February 2016. Winter cricket practice in the warehouse with my babies. They were 8 and nearly 10. Now all grown up and still playing cricket. 😍

Waterlogged fields, mud splodged everywhere from sugar beet harvest, Magpies flapping noisily from dripping hedgerows. #FirstBirdOfMyDay

Thank you, I really needed to hear that. 🌷

I love pied wagtails. They are such jolly little birds and they remind me of summers spent watching my kids play cricket. There is always a wagtail toddling around on the outfield. 😊

#OnThisDay 5th February 2022, me riding Minnie on a lovely hack in the winter misty lanes. She was such a love.

Looks amazing, I love the skylight. At least you won’t be able to mess it up if nothing’s wired in.

Yes! It was always so hard to do diagonal lines on an Etch-a-Sketch! 😊

Mine was a magnificent red kite, soaring over my garden, seen out of my bedroom window. I was in the middle of a panic attack and seeing it stopped it in its tracks. Nature is wonderful. #FirstBirdOfMyDay

#OnThisDay 4th February 2024, Iris reticulata and snowdrops in my front garden.

Let me know how you get on with the Ashwaghandha. I have chronic pain too. It can be exhausting when it’s bad, can’t it. Hope it’s not too bad for you today. X

#FirstBirdOfMyDay was a male blackbird pottering about in the garden. The sun is coming out on and off and it feels a little bit spring like here in Norfolk.
