Today’s the day - The new Loring Greenway playground with wheelchair accessible pavement is installed and inspected and fences will come down today. This tangible investment in livability, safety, and child development will benefit downtown families for generations to come. 🫶

construction has begun for the new playground on the loring greenway replacing the one destroyed in january. katie cashman and the ward 7 office found a replacement available across the country faster than what the city thought they could do, and at a fraction of the cost as well
