Pew Research Institute (2023):

• Red State Texas has about 2.1 million undocumented immigrants

• Red State Florida has 1.6 M undocumented immigrants

• Blue State Minnesota has 130,000.

And yet only Minnesota is being occupied by masked thugs over "immigration."

It's *not* about immigration.

It's important to grieve, in your way
Will Arnett was on Conan and told a story about how Conan dealt with the death of his parents by accusing Jason Bateman of killing them. It’s so funny.

There are reasons people don't like cops.
Pesky e-bike riders delivering food to people should be ticketed... @tps.ca there appears to be a double standard here because stopping in for some Jerk King, although delicious is not actively responding to an emergency.

The use of the lights here, while clever, is certainly inappropriate.

I'm practically in tears

After 45 years of umpiring and advocating for other women umpires, I'm about to witness what I was beginning to believe would never happen: Jen Pawol will be in uniform on the field in Atlanta this Saturday for the Marlins @ Braves doubleheader. www.mlb.com/news/jen-paw...
Pawol to make history as MLB's first female umpire
Jen Pawol will make history this weekend as the first woman to be an umpire in a regular-season MLB game. Pawol will ump three games during this weekend’s Marlins-Braves series in Atlanta, including b...

Without daylight saving time, sunrise this morning would be at 4:35am in Toronto, and we'd miss out on an hour of sunlight in the evening.

Daylight saving time is good, and worth the hassle of switching the clocks a couple times a year.

Things I don't like file:
- Police assn cozying up to a political party
- Leaders who lose their riding bribing a winning candidate to step down and hand over their seat.
- Losing parties questioning the integrity of an election
- Premiers talking separation right after their side loses federally.

I really do think we’re well beyond this point.

If you pretend that your differences with friends and coworkers and family are about “politics” when in fact they’re about right versus wrong and fascism versus the rule of law, you’re doing your country a grave disservice.
