I'm exploring doing voluntary work in museum / heritage sector. 1 thing REALLY strikes me. Many places have waiting lists or are swamped with volunteers & it's highly competitive. Compare that to the church, who put upon you with stuff as they are desperate for volunteers. #SpeaksVolumes

Wow! I'm well and truly not on this sort of money - by several £k.
A single person in the UK now needs to earn £30,500 a year to “participate in society” and "live with dignity", new research has found.

I'm sad to say that since leaving Twitter/X my sales for live shows have dropped quite a lot - it turns out that even though it's a dreadful place it was still useful for getting the word out about events. So any shares / RTs of my posts about live shows are hugely appreciated!

Yesterday someone recommended a book to me. I took a photo of the cover. I looked at it on Amazon this morning. I've just been on FB & the author is coming up as a friend suggestion. Really!!! 😱

I design my botanical photos using recent research so they dial down the fight or flight response in your brain when you look at them.
I'll be closing my shop again on Sunday evening:

I survived my first couch to 5K run yesterday, which I'm doing with a local running group. I'm struck by how different running is to walking. I walk for miles and feel fine, whereas I ran for minutes only yesterday and feel knackered today. 🏃‍♀️ 2nd run of week 1 tomorrow.
