I am hard pressed to think of an MLB trade that was only made after the player was administered a physical by the acquiring team. Teams exchange medicals, but theres not a physical administered.
Grayson Rodriguez said he didn't go through a pre-trade physical assessment from the Angels. The deal happened as-is. But Rodriguez said he is ready for spring training

Found the Rangers’ 2026 starting catcher
Giants will DFA C Andrew Knizner. Above-average framer and defense, hit .306 in second half with 137 wRC+, and season K rate of 11.4% was by far best of his career.
