This subject could easily be a book length essay. The key question is why Scottish football, or rather all the other clubs in Scotland, make no attempt to challenge underlying reasons that mean they have almost no chance of winning the league.

Yesterday at @claptoncfc.co.uk was Match 2025 for me. A nice @futbologyapp.bsky.social milestone to make just before the end of the year of the same number

Interesting piece highlighting some of the problems of Scottish football in today's @theobserveruk.bsky.social by @rorysmith.bsky.social. I particularly like the phrase "toxic insularity" to describe the inherent conservatism and small-mindedness

For the first time in over 38 years of living in London, I've had to pay attention to the destination of an eastbound Central Line train.

With 2 late goals for Girona in Donostia and the Anoeta emptying as Real Sociedad fans leave early, I'm worried about all the Basques in one exit

Continuing my #nonleague adventures, I made a long-overdue visit to progressive Manchester club, West Didsbury & Chorlton

The club enjoyed average crowds of 877 last season, more than twice the average in their division
