Nine years younger than Diego, Hugo had a decent career playing for Argentinos Juniors, Napoli, Ascoli, Rayo Vallecano as well as clubs in Uruguay, Venezuela and Japan.
Hugo died in December 2021, aged 52, only a year after the death of Diego.

🇦🇷 Yesterday was referee Carlos Espósito’s birthday. Espósito is remebered —along with his reffing of two games at the 1986 World Cup— for his elbow on Racing Club’s Juan Solari in a 1982 Clásico de Avellaneda at El Cilindro (Racing 0-2 Independiente) 😳
