Our brains are not wired to comprehend presidential corruption on this scale. Nor is our government, I fear, equipped to address a financial scandal as enormous as the one.

The Jimmy Kimmel firing, Colbert's show, what's happening at WaPo, CBS... legacy journalism is slowly but surely coming under state control.

It is more important now than ever before that we support the independent journalists out there doing the work not beholden to a fascist's bidding.

Hell yes!
Susan Crawford wins the Wisconsin Supreme Court election, according to many election analysts.

This after Elon Musk and others poured millions into anti-transgender advertisements in the state.

The anti-trans panic failed in Wisconsin.

This is a major victory for LGBTQ+ people in the state.

Many on the DOGE team are from Elon Musk’s world in Silicon Valley.

We’ve mapped out a list of people affiliated with DOGE, including creating a searchable table with each member, their corporate history, and the agencies they’ve been connected to.
We Mapped DOGE’s Silicon Valley and Corporate Connections
If Elon Musk is America's CEO, DOGE is the Silicon Valley executive branch.

Earlier this week, WIRED reported that Mike Waltz left sensitive information exposed via Venmo.

Then, we found four other Venmo accounts that have been leaking data and appear to be associated with Trump officials who were in the SignalGate group chat.

WIRED has found four new Venmo accounts that appear to be associated with Trump officials who were in an infamous Signal chat. One made a payment with a note consisting solely of an eggplant emoji.

Musk has been given more power over the federal government than any other private individual since the founding. This is the world that the Supreme Court’s campaign-finance deregulation efforts have created.
Elon Musk Is Demolishing the Rationale for Citizens United

Earlier today I shared a video of a 600-pound octopus squeezing itself through a very small opening while the video narrator explained that it could do so thanks to its lack of bones. I joked that it could easily slide into a butt.

That octopus had more of a spine than Schumer.

The earth cannot catch me when I stumble.

The stars cannot guide my way when I'm lost.

The moon cannot pull me into a hug.

The sun cannot sing, "You are my sunshine."
