I know myself and the projects are only going to escalate from here.

Day 1 of being laid off: had Notion AI make me a job search tracker since I know myself and I need to write things down or they fall out of my brain.

Summer matinee movies are the MVP for bringing back nostalgic faves.

Watching Shrek in theaters in 2025 is 110% as good as it was watching it in theaters in 2001. 💚

Me: “I love learning new things!”
Also me: “This new thing is hard. I hate it and it sucks and it’s super dumb!”
Also also me: “Oh my god I get it now! I love learning new things!”

So excited for new @skamille.themanagerswrath.com and not sure how I missed the release in Nov. It jumped straight in front of my TBR pile this week. One chapter in and I can already tell she’s nailed it again 👏

I LOVE this …Chart of Shame on webstatus.dev/stats “Features missing in only one browser”.

Even lets you click on individual data points and see which features each browser is holding the Web back from!

Hopefully it will motivate implementations of these features!

The edge of a book is called a spine because every book printed involves sacrificing one person. This is why printing is referred to as a dark art.

Convincing my six year old that Victorian Farm is an absolute banger of a series is something I am _so_ proud of.

I always write one bug into the code I ship to prod, just like the Amish always sew one mistake into their quilts. Because only God is perfect. 😇 🙏 💻

Forget Enneagream number or Meyers-Briggs type. I wanna know your IDE setup.

What’s your color scheme? What extensions do you use? Do you keep certain tabs open at all times?

This is the personality test I care about.

Every year, the first warm sunny day in Pittsburgh feels like being born into a beautiful new world. And then in a week or two the weather will go “jk! not warm yet!”

Read a single book? I could never. I’ve usually got some spin on:
- A “morning inspiration book” read
- A “work book club” read
- A separate “career growth/thinking” read
- A “get off work and turn brain off” read
- A “learn cool stuff” book

I watch a decent number of documentaries and I don’t think there is a single one that can top the original 1980 release of Carl Sagan’s The Cosmos. It is a love letter and spiritual experience.
