One of the best things about the US Constitution is the fact that it binds a connective web of postal service to the building of a nation. It is a genuine shame that such a clause was not included in the repatriation of the Canadian Constitution in 82.
The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service
