They want it formally dead, but NATO is already functionally dead as a geopolitical reality. Even if he backs down (wouldn't bet on it), there's no going back from sending European capitals into a spiraling panic that the US is seriously about to invade one of them. You can't unring that bell.

I keep repeating it because its insane to me but the idea of invading or acquiring Greenland for missile defense is insane because we already have access to it for our missile defense

The ICE agent who shot Marimar Martinez in Chicago tried to goad her out of her car.
He said “do something b*tch” and shot her 5 times.
The ICE agent who shot Nicole Renee Good did the same thing. Stood right in front of her vehicle and yelled “f*cking bitch”.
