For the noobs, hi! I'm Liz.

You likely followed me from a rare witty comment in response to someone else's post.

I read books (lots of genre fiction, history, science), watch movies (fewer than I'd like,) and listen to music (Classic Rock, Weird Al, & showtunes.)

I forgot to tag this 3-post thread for all y'all, so here you go #HATM

(I screenshotted everything on Threads & copied/pasted the text into an enumerated Notes file so I could fill in alt-text; hope it clarifies stuff if you were still wondering!)

Were you wondering who voiced which historical personage in The American Revolution?

PBS's Threads acc't just posted the cast list; if you're not on Threads, I'd be happy to post screenshots w/alt-text later today.

It's easy to buy gifts online. When you buy from *artists*, you're supporting working people, instead of making rich jerks richer.

This fall, send your present $$ to an artist's shop!

Call the United States Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and they will connect you with your senator's office.

If you're represented by one of the squishier centrists, be sure to make a call. Now.
Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.
