The conditions in the highest security prisons are truly deplorable.
After Biden commuted the sentences of 37 men on federal death row last year, the Trump administration is retaliating by sending them to the supermax. Prisoners are locked in cells smaller than a parking space 22-24 hours a day.
One prisoner told me he fears he won't make it out alive.

What this shows is that, just as Americans are all just temporarily embarrassed millionaires, Dems must think their base is made of temporarily embarrassed Republicans who will eventually turn over and still want their support.

American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

The fun part of having a big family with a wide age range - the teen had to be up at 5am for a band competition. The 3 year old heard the commotion and decided yes, 5:30am is the right time to wake up on a Saturday!

Awful. Teen Vogue has been such a bright star in this landscape and to see it gutted too is a real blow.
I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.
certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.
