Anti-capitalist manifestos, chorizo news, and generally substandard #LFC twaddle. Passing time until the heat death of the universe.

Cody Gakpo just tried to cut outside rather than inside and I am laughing at the result.

That looked like a pen to me (that we wouldn't have needed if Virgil's brain didn't briefly turn into goo earlier)
November 26, 2025 at 8:21 PM
It would have been very Liverpool 2025-26 for VAR to show that being onside.

We all dream of a team of Szoboszlais. Imagine what this fucking season would look like without him.
November 26, 2025 at 8:16 PM
I don't know if we're quite at "Gerrard looks at Hodgson before blasting the penalty wide" but goodness.
Liverpool are actively throwing games this is the new betting scandal it’s the only explanation I have anymore

Well, that's one way to start.

I'm ready to be hurt again.

I get persisting with Salah because he's Salah (but maybe like we could tweak the tactics to get him a little closer to goal maybe please Arne?) but I really do not get persisting with Gakpo (go score a brace and make me feel like an asshole, buddy).

There's only one player in the mix as our PotY at this stage and it's not even close.

Everton are gonna go old school and release a DVD titled Merry Christmas, Liverpool if they're still ahead of us at Christmas.

Oh boy oh boy oh boy dot gif
If Everton beat United on Monday we'll be in 12th place after 12 matchweeks it's the kind of poetry George Lucas would have loved.

I mean yeah that's probably the right call given we're a loss to West Ham away from a crisis becoming A CRISIS

I hadn't counted until now and in case you hadn't, either, we're seven points ahead of Leeds in the relegation places on one side and eleven points behind Arsenal in first on the other. So. You're welcome. The beatings will continue until morale improves. Happy Monday.
November 24, 2025 at 2:06 PM
That was bad. Everything's bad. Can we just mark us down for 17th and abdicate the rest of the season?

I say we go outside of the box and get that basketball coach who was always talking about Klopp and he can let someone else do the boring tactics stuff.
does anyone know how to fix Liverpool
November 22, 2025 at 5:15 PM
It's not on the players. It's obvious the players are lost. I feel legitimately just incredibly sad for them to have this season piled on top of it all. And fair or not, the proverbial buck stops with the manager for not being up to managing them through a tragedy.
Robbo crying going down the tunnel. I’ve my complaints about subs and that but fuck me these deserve the ground to stay full until full time you know.

Ah well, nevertheless.

Slot didn't know how to man manage players through tragedy. That would almost never be an issue. Tragedy like that doesn’t come along often for teams. But here we are. Is what it is. Other cliches. We need a manager who can get heads right. I don’t know who it is but I’m pretty sure it’s not Slot.

💯 In this moment Liverpool need a manager who can create unity and inner strength, not a tactician who doesn’t seem great with individual relationships.

Liverpool staring down the barrel of just a fourth Premier League defeat by 3+ goals at Anfield.

That's ever, not this season. Honestly.
November 22, 2025 at 4:42 PM
There's a world, I think, where we don't lose Jota, Slot gets his signings, shifts tactics, and it's all cool but the mental side is just as important and increasingly it seems he (and his staff) wasn't up to managing the players through that ordeal. It might feel harsh, but doing that was his job.
This is the fairest criticism of Slot I've seen yet, thank you for putting this into words so well. He's very good tactically and as a manager overall, but unfortunately the state of this squad rn needs a "player manager" who's better with the emotional stuff. Not his fault the timing of all this
November 22, 2025 at 4:37 PM
Those subs should have come ages ago.
November 22, 2025 at 4:29 PM
That's the thing. So we're struggling with what happened to Diogo. And now in a rut now more broadly and heads have dropped. It's the Slot's job to pick them up and, like, I'm really not sure he's that sort. He's low key, he's tactical, he's introspective. And we seem desperately to need a Klopp.
i just don’t know if slot can be the man manager he needs to be for this club 🫠
