Hard to know what to say about that. They were gifted a pen. We had a goal wrongly ruled out. They got two deflected goals. We weren't out best selves but also you get to a point in a game where everything is going against you and it's just like, what the fuck are you actually meant to do about it?

Every time we play them people are like wow look at Doku torching Literally Any Right Back. Because there isn't a right back in England or Europe who can regularly stop Doku. But then he just has zero end product. It's a little wild, actually.

Comparing Doku to Vini Jr is so interesting. Vini falls over at even a hint of contact while Doku stays on his feet & tries to create. It’s says something about the two leagues & explains why teams from England’s 1st division have beaten teams from La Liga every time but once this season.
