"Mainstream media has a duty to inform its audience that Trump/Miller policies are in fact hateful. But it rarely does so. Moran is to be commended for speaking truth to power. Speaking truth to power is, after all, what journalists are supposed to do." — @nberlat.bsky.social
ABC is too cowed to state the obvious about Stephen Miller
The road to fascism is paved with "objectivity" and "civility."

Increase in productivity since 1979: 86%

Increase in hourly pay since 1979: 31%

Just so happens that ~25% of workers were unionized in 1979. Today? 10%.

As unions declined, the super-rich have taken a larger share of wealth generated by labor. We must build back union power.

Dropkick Murphys just had an epic moment at their show:

They made a friendly wager with a fan in a MAGA shirt—“Let’s see where it’s made.”

Then they checked his MAGA shirt tag…

Made in Nicaragua.

They swapped it with a Made in America Dropkick Murphys tee.

Legendary.

Democrats must make clear that, of course, we believe in changing government for the better - and show how different that is from Trump's destruction of government's capacity to protect workers, consumers, and families.

Yes, the employee at McDonald’s should be able to afford rent, groceries, bills, health care and retirement plans with their paycheck alone. That’s what jobs are for.

Our polling found that 75% of voters approve of the CFPB after hearing about its actions on banking and medical debt.

A Republican congressman just introduced a bill to abolish OSHA and get rid of federal safety protections for workers.

Remind me— wasn’t it Republicans who claimed that they were the party of the working class?
