It's striking how much Trumpists hate what's made the United States great: immigration, trade, medical and scientific research, the rule of law, an enlightened patriotism, a willingness and ability to correct past injustices.

At the end of the day, Trumpism is Third Worldism.

THREAD: The Trump administration's DOJ has removed a study from the NIJ website that found that immigrants, and particularly undocumented immigrants, commit crimes at significantly lower rates than U.S. citizens.

The study is at odds with the Trump regime's propaganda about immigrants & crime. (1)

Another outgrowth of the Musk DOGE experience is that no government agency should ever trust him or reward him a contract again, including the Pentagon. Musk is a pathological liar and a dangerous fool.
Just getting to this @nytimes.com article about what a jawdropping bullshit factory, failure and fraud DOGE is.

Musk is an historic disgrace, and what they've done is an incredible national scandal. Gift link. READ IT.

DOGE Is Far Short of Its Goal, and Still Overstating Its Progress (Gift Article)
Elon Musk now says his group will produce only 15 percent of the savings it promised. But even that estimate is inflated with errors and guesswork.

Elon Musk said he’d cut the federal budget by $2 trillion

Quickly lowered this to $1 trillion

Now he’s down to $150 billion

And even THAT appears to be an overestimate of $92 billion

So-after firing thousands of workers and destroying government services

This clown will cut $58 billion

Maybe

If you’re proud of what you’re doing in office, you meet with your voters and talk about it.

But if you know your party is helping destroy the country… you hide. 🐔

Beware, voters...

Whether it's closing polling stations, enacting strict ID laws (to combat mythical voter fraud), refusing to fill vacated seats, or scheming to nullify ballots - akin to what's currently happening in NC - such shades of voter suppression are our future under continued GOP rule.
Like the meme says, you can't lose an election if nobody can vote. With TX disenfranchising a Dem House district, and a coup over an NC judicial race, GOP strategy for coping with Trump's shrinking presidency hinges on voter suppression

The Trump administration is committing crimes against humanity right before our eyes.

They are disappearing people who are in this country legally and sending them to El Salvadoran prison camps to be tortured.

Every official involved deserves nothing less than to be tried at The Hague.
