I was in a youth theatre thing in the late 1980s that insisted in the script that Les Miz was set during the French Revolution, and when I pointed out that was wildly incorrect, I was briefly shunned.

Constantly reminding people that I’ve been in tech for 30 years with my archaeology and library science degrees, most people who did CS crashed out decades ago. Researching, writing and presenting are much more important long-term than any specific coding language or framework.

#Parkrun number 139 - we did a @sanctuaryrunner.bsky.social road trip to Broadmeadow Linear Parkrun in Swords. It is cold, but it’s a flat course - pretty quick today. Toes still numb.
