Every so often I look at the paper of record to see if it is quickly communicating to readers that they are living through a constitutional crisis, and the answer consistently is "no."
They are covering the topics, but in the name of journalistic balance, not conveying the alarm.

Here’s my take, and I’ll share it with my senators @chrismurphyct.bsky.social and @blumenthal.senate.gov, who took a principled stand against the “continuing resolution”: it’s a good thing the Democratic Senators split on this. It underscored the two unconscionable options put forth by the GOP.
