My takeaway from every new Epstein revelation is that some powerful people victimized many powerless young women, many more knew, some actively enabled it--and we're still being told that MeToo and accountability for sexual violence have gone too far

Snoop went from Gin & Juice to whining about a lesbian kiss in a Pixar movie.

The time is long overdue for Congress to stop funding Israel’s illegal and horrific war against the Palestinian people.

The U.S. must not support a government which is starving children.

Tomorrow, I will force votes in the Senate to block the sale of weapons to Netanyahu.

One of the weirdest things about the people supporting our fascist gov - after the pedophiles/sex criminals - is how nobody ever made anyone get a vaccine or take antidepressants against their will but they want to take access away from everyone *against our will.* They are the problem they imagined

I don’t want the NIH to be fucking profitable, I want it to cure cancer and Alzheimer’s
TAPPER: 14 Republicans say you're risking undermining critical research by holding up NIH funding

VOUGHT: If they were a company, their stock price would in shambles. They in some respects caused the pandemic. You have an entire institute that does nothing more than DEI research at the NIH.

One reason so many American hospitals are struggling? Investors buy them up, then suck them dry, charging such high rents that services are gutted.

The woke college students were right but we can't acknowledge this because then we'll have to consider whether they're right about other things too. That I'm a big stupid moron for instance
It is pretty noticeable that even as mainstream opinion on Israel and Gaza finally shifts, you don’t hear the Responsible Adults apologizing for punishing all the college kids protesting the atrocities. Quite the opposite in fact!

Why are the news services not fixated on the fact that Vought, at least twice, this morning blamed NIH for funding research that led to the pandemic?

Or has our collective intelligence detiorated to the point of accepting this?
Also worth mentioning that Russell Vought’s ex-wife credits their daughter’s life to a medicine developed through NIH funding, which they wouldn’t have even been able to afford without NIH funded research trials. This should come up in every conversation with him. www.motherjones.com/politics/202...

Understand the indignity of air dropping food on Gaza.

The March air drop killed 5 Palestinians. Air drops force Palestinians to scavenge for food like animals. This could all be avoided if Israel ended its barbaric blockade, or if world leaders had the courage to break it.

Instead, more genocide
