Shithole country.
Whoa! The shutdown’s ripple effect starting to hit.

Burbank Airport in LA County has no air traffic controllers on duty due to sick calls, last-minute day-off requests, and staffing shortages.

If you’re flying anywhere in the country, check for delays.

This is the thing that makes the early corporate reaction to Trump so completely incomprehensible. A huge number of businesses went "well I guess one guy's posts are more important than basic rule of law or our customers' values, seems fine". Lotta executives just deluding themselves.

The article echoes what I’ve seen and heard from peers: AI makes it easy to produce slick but shallow work that looks plausible on the surface, yet riddled with errors or bad assumptions underneath.

Your coworkers end up having to fix or redo it.

It’s workslop, and it’s spreading fast.
AI-Generated “Workslop” Is Destroying Productivity
Despite a surge in generative AI use across workplaces, most companies are seeing little measurable ROI. One possible reason is because AI tools are being used to produce “workslop”—content that appea...

Disney/ABC have a responsibility to refuse to participate in corruption.

Kimmel must be reinstated. If Disney/ABC agree to this extortion then perhaps creatives + workers should consider collective action to push back. Same w/buying park + cruise tickets if they bow.
