Some nice modes here, it controls well and looks the part, but it falls flat for me because there's no proper endless mode and everything is against the clock. ⏱️🙁

Just realised that the rumble on my original Wii Remote from 2006 isn't working. Occasionally if I shake the remote it'll kick in, but more often than not there's nothing.
Hopefully it's something as simple as the motor needing lubricating. I think I need to open it up and have a look!

This wasn't used for gaming, but for deinterlacing DVDs on a 480p/576p capable CRT TV in the early 2000s. I'm curious as to how much lag it introduces and what uses it might have as a gaming device though. Might be fun to test it out... 🤔😁

The Perfect Game is Henk Rogers' first person account of the Tetris story. Probably not the best place to start if you're not already familiar with the tale as it doesn't cover what the other parties were up if Rogers didn't experience it first-hand!

So I've decided to give Super Mario Galaxy another chance. Looking at the date and time on my last save file I haven't touched this game in nearly 18 years... 😅
It was a massive disappointment to me last time, but maybe - knowing what I'm in for - I'll stand a better chance of enjoying it now. 🤞

So I've decided to give Super Mario Galaxy another chance. Looking at the date and time on my last save file I haven't touched this game in nearly 18 years... 😅

So I've fully rinsed the Link's Awakening remake on Switch, including all the preset create-your-own-dungeon challenges.
The fact that the original gameplay just needed a fresh graphical coat of paint to make it feel this fresh just goes to prove what an incredible game the original is. 😊
