Silent Hill f is survival horror game developed by NeoBards Entertainment.

Silent Hill f was a big departure from previous games in the series and it’s set in 1960s Japan instead of the usual titular town and modern setting.

Was it a worthy entry in the Silent Hill series?

Mega Man X4 is an action-platform game developed by Capcom.

The game started life as a Sega Saturn exclusive, but was delayed and made multi-platform. Then the PS version almost didn’t see a North American release due to SCEA’s policy against 2D games.

Half-Life is a 1998 first-person shooter developed by Valve.

Half-Life is considered by many to be one of the most influential and best FPS games of all time.

In 2001 the game was ported to the PS2 and it’s to this day the only home console port released.

Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow is a platform game developed by Disney Interactive.

Set on a tropical island, the game stars Donald Duck as the Magnum P.I.-inspired duck detective Maui Mallard and his ninja alter ego, Cold Shadow.

What was the first game that made you go ”holy shit, this looks just like a movie!”?

For me that game was Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader on the Gamecube.

The game might be based on a movie, but that certainly didn’t stop it from looking like one as well.

The game is set in an apocalyptic United States and you control Sam Porter, a courier who’s trying to reconnect the country after a cataclysmic event known as the ”Death Stranding”.

Super Adventure Island is the first game on the SNES in the Adventure Island series and it continues the story about Master Higgins and his girlfriend Tina.

What we have here is a pretty fun platformer with a wacky sense of humor and a unique claymation art style.

Balatro is a poker-themed roguelike deck-building game developed by LocalThunk.

Balatro came out in 2024 and was a huge success. With over 5 million copies sold and several awards won it felt like everyone caught the Balatro bug.

Set within the panels of a comic book, the game follows comic writer/artist Sketch Turner as he attempts to escape the pages of his own work.

Teardown is a sandbox-puzzle game developed by Tuxedo Labs.

Teardown uses a custom game engine that allows entire levels to be made out of destructible voxels. If a wall or a door is blocking your way then simply burn it, smash it down or blow it up.

Captain Martin Walker is sent into a post-catastrophe Dubai with a Delta Force team on a recon mission, but the mission quickly goes sideways and things starts to take a toll on Walker’s sanity.

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is an action-adventure stealth game developed by Konami.

MGS3 acts as a prequel to the entire Metal Gear series and is often considered one of the best video games ever made.

The game uses voxel-based graphics in a 3D environment to emulate a 2D pixelated look of older video games.

Final Fight was first released in the arcades in 1989. It was eventually ported to the SNES, but this version removed the co-op option, an industrial area level as well as the playable character Guy.

Digital Extremes replaced the first game’s developer Starbreeze and gave the game a new art style and made it more action-oriented.

Jurassic Park Part 2 is a pretty standard side-scrolling run 'n' gun game, but it does have a very impressive cinematic opening for the time.

Duke Nukem: Total Meltdown is a first-person shooter developed by 3D Realms.

Total Meltdown is the Playstation port of Duke Nukem 3D. The port features new music, new enemies, and an exclusive fourth episode: Plug 'N' Pray.

Disney’s Beauty and the Beast is a platform game based on the 1991 film of the same name.

The game loosely follows the story of the movie and you get to relive key moments like a snowball fight with Belle and taking down Gaston on the roof of Beast’s castle
