@mrjamesob.bsky.social some of the best radio I’ve ever heard! Likening the arrival of Marine One and its decoy as ‘a pea under an eggcup’ was perfect!
Arrived home to watch on TV. But preferred this magnificent commentary, with the visuals providing a pleasant accompaniment.
Bravo James, bravo!!

An excellent article which removes emotion and concentrates on the real facts that matter to Scotland.

Do something amazing this evening and follow them. 🙃👇
Amazing, looks like @bylinesscotland.bsky.social are going to be the first Bylines to pass 20K followers, can they do it this weekend?

If you're interested in joining their team as an editor, proofreader, writer, photographer etc then please email editor@bylines.scot and help spread the word

Please think about the thread on Musk I recently posted here whenever you read news about him.

You can't understand who the man is unless you understand that he's a genuinely bad person who cares only about money, power, fame, literal immortality and a small cadre of wealthy or sycophantic friends.
NEW: For the 3rd year in a row, Elon Musk’s foundation gave away less than it was supposed to. In 2023, it gave away $421 million less than the minimum required for a charity of its size, new filings show. www.nytimes.com/2024/12/12/u...
Musk’s Foundation Gave Away Less Money Than Required in 2023
Private foundations must donate 5 percent of their assets every year. Elon Musk’s enormous charity missed that standard for three consecutive years.

Finally got to see the Stone of Destiny this week in the excellent new exhibition area Perth Museum.
The Knife Angel is also on display in Perth and is a very salutary reminder of the danger of knives.

This podcast will come as no surprise to anyone who has read this book by the wonderful and immensely brave Bill Browder.

A must read for anyone wishing to understand our current predicament and Russia's part in it.

SNP's Ivan Mckee here basically coming off the bench in the last 20 mins of a game, playing a blinder, scoring a hat-trick, and walking away with MOTM at the final whistle.
Boy, do I like to use football analogies! 🤣⚽
#ScottishIndependence #PoliticsLive 📺
We need more of this.

Scotland's politicians setting out the ways Scottish people are better with Holyrood representation.

The commentator at the end gets it.

Political leaders have to show how Westminster isn't working for us and why we need #ScottishIndependence

I fear I’m going to remember the word ‘tattle’ more often now, than I remember names…..
Word of the day is a favourite, from old Scots.

To ‘tartle’ is to hesitate while introducing someone because you have completely forgotten their name.

The liars, of course, have all moved on to new cons & deceptions. The fishing industry can't. A vaguely honest media would be holding Farage & the rest to account for this instead of promoting a meaningless petition...

What a wonderful idea by Lego to make these models of MRI scanners.

They are used to explain and reassure children who need to undergo a scan.

Following Bill is the very least we can do after everything he’s done for us….
I’m now on Bluesky. The one thing that concerns me is that in 2018 when I was arrested in Spain on a Russian warrant, it was live tweeting that saved my life. I need enough followers here so if the same thing happens, I will be protected. Please help me with that

1. The difference so far (and for god's sake let's keep it that way) between X and Bluesky is not between right and left but between abuse and respect.
A good society is built on mutual respect. But what does this mean?
