Aren't warrant checks like they ran on the United States citizens detained in the Chicago Apartment raid two nights ago unconstitutional without probable cause? Asking for a friend.
Just to be 100% clear: The Caribbean coast of Venezuela, where the boat strikes are happening, is 1500 miles away from South Florida. The area of the Pacific where boat strikes are happening is 3,500 Mi away from SoCal. The boats we are blowing up have a range of like 100 miles.

Hopefully, because the fossil fuel industry is in decline, they won't do a goddamn thing with it just like the 9,000 other untouched oil leases. With oil prices in the 60s they won't be drilling much. Joe Biden's Revenge- you got to love it. Google Joe biden, Master oil Trader and read what comes up
The Trump regime just killed a rule protecting millions of acres of western Arctic lands from fossil fuel drilling.

It’s yet another giveaway to Big Oil — which spent $450 million backing Trump and Republicans and lobbying Congress last year.

Biden's legislation committing 86 billion of funding to the IRS over 8 years was to recruit an army of forensic accountants with the mandate to recover precisely those funds. Trump and his minions claimed the new-hires would be sent to hourly wage earners' homes with AR-15 rifles. Up yours.
Remember: The richest 1% evade over $160 billion in taxes every year.

That amount would fund SNAP for a year with money to spare.

Ask yourself who the real freeloaders are.

No puppet, no puppet, you're the puppet.
No pedo, no pedo, you're the pedo. Trump's attempt to deflect from complicity with Epstein via his projection confession Verbal Judo trick is his single worst example of such, while simultaneously being the most transparent. Brazen. Pathetic. The sky is green

What if? The only reason they weren't getting pounded the entire time about the Epstein of it all was the Democrats fervent desire to set her up the health insurance affordability crisis. The shutdown was ended at precisely the correct time to clear the decks for full scrutiny of the Epstein files.
NEW EPISODE: What if the entire government shutdown was actually about concealing the Epstein Files? It raises the question: In what other ways have these Files been driving the president’s actions? www.youtube.com/watch?v=iVJ2...

And still, her own words are not believed, while Trump is the President. He should not be allowed to walk free, let alone sit in the Oval Office.

This sums it up nicely. Remember rep Grayson from Florida? Die quickly!
Translation: the Republican plan is to let the vulnerable die

The ACA is flawed, but it saved lives. McCain cast a brave vote for a reason. Going backwards is not the answer. MEDICARE FOR ALL is.

So that's the title of the article that contains Trump's quote about Epstein liking girls on the younger side. That's absolutely perfect.

It Is by no means a foregone conclusion that any of these assholes will get a single penny. They have given themselves the right to sue, but they still have to win and the way I see it that's not going to happen. Since it is doomed to fail, this whole ploy ends up being just another shiny object.
AOC: "It is unconscionable that what we are debating right now is legislation that will give 8 senators over $1 million a piece & we're robbing people of their food assistance & healthcare to pay for it. How can we vote to enrich ourselves by stealing from the American people?"

For anyone watching Katy Tour on MSNBC right now, that guy who says he feels abandoned by the Democrats is an idiot. The Republicans made the choice to take away those tax credits. The Democrats have zero power to change this decision, and the Republicans absolutely refuse.
November 11, 2025 at 7:13 PM
For anyone who was watching MSNBC last night, I agree with Tim Miller and Lawrence O'Donnell. In the Big tent Democrat Party we don't threaten other Dems with anything more dire than a primary. In the Big tent Democrat Party we accept other members differing views and live with it.

Democrats are supposed to be the party of logic reason and Truth. So why are so God damn many of them blaming Schumer for not being able to convince Trump to agree to sign an extension to the ACA tax credits? Trump said no and he's not changing his mind. Final answer. It's not possible for me
This seems like the most straightforward and also basically accurate message.
instead of saying this was good strategy, maybe senate dems should say: "the republicans were going to kill people by starving them to death, and because we aren't monsters, we decided to let this fight go. We'll keep fighting. Stop electing monsters."

Let's be 100% clear here. Trump is out of moves to make. Passing anything other than the CR up for consideration in the Senate right now will trigger the Epstein discharge petition, setting it loose in the backyard to do zoomies. He's trapped- he's cornered.
November 9, 2025 at 11:42 PM
Just to level set, if Trump were to send $2,000 bucks to every man woman and child in the country it would cost right at $700 billion dollars. The highest credible figure for tariff Revenue collected is around $400 billion, but I believe it's closer to 200 billion. That's probably about half 1/2

I always find it interesting how the story changes when a lawyer gets to court. They can say anything they want outside of court without accountability but the rules are vastly different in court where you can get seriously penalized for lying.
November 6, 2025 at 7:28 PM
Even if we pass the clean CR and open up the government today, funding will run out again in just 13 days and we will have to do this all over again. The 13-day CR is the only move the Republicans have that won't trigger the Epstein discharge petition. Once that happens, they will be down to 1/2

Just a reminder that Transportation secretary Pete buttigieg and the Biden Administration had the number of air traffic controllers on the rise again after declining steadily throughout Trump 1.0. Now it's declining again and assholes want to blame it on the Democrats - FUCK THAT
November 7, 2025 at 7:12 PM
With control of both the house and the Senate, the Democrats can take back authority to Levy tariffs and they should run on a promise to do precisely that- removal of all tariffs for starters. Aggressive antitrust enforcement actions and legislation can help too, but assholes will scream socialism.
Everywhere Democrats won this week, they won because they focused on the affordability crisis facing average working Americans. But an important question remains: What are they going to do about it? https://robertreich.substack.com/p/office-hours-how-will-dems-deliver
