Tyson is closing a Nebraska plant that employs 3,200 workers in order to “right-size” its business.

The meatpacking giant paid its CEO $22.7M last year, 525x its median employee's pay.

It also spent $196M in stock buybacks to reward shareholders.

Textbook corporate greed.

Trump’s signals to Zelensky and Europe: Accept this plan or you’re on your own | CNN
The 28-point plan hammered out by US and Russian envoys and put to Ukraine this week came with a deadline and an implicit threat: Sign up or face the risk of being abandoned.

James Comey and Letitia James, cases dismissed without prejudice, after a judge ruled the appointment of Lindsey Halligan as the lead prosecutor was illegal.

Trump and his corrupt DOJ have lost case after case. The goal isn't to win anything but to intimidate their targets & tie them up in court.

After teasing a plan by Trump to extend Affordable Care Act premium subsidies, the White House has delayed the announcement under pressure from Republicans.

If Trump doesn’t sign legislation before Dec. 15, millions will be forced to pay more for health insurance, or forgo it altogether.
Even Trump wants to extend Obamacare—but Republicans stopped him
Tick, tock: the GOP is desperately trying to run out the clock on ACA subsidies.

Going forward, the only thing you'll hear reported from the Pentagon will be delivered by subservient, right-wing stenographers. The War Department has its own Ministry of Truth, staffed by people whose organizations have seen their fortunes rise along with Trump's. The bootlicking was always there. The only change is that it's now officially state-sanctioned. The administration doesn't care how this looks.
