The lies from Trump NIH director Bhattacharya are killing people.

His COVID-contrarian stance, which has served billionaires and oligarchs so well, now will result in thousands of deaths, due to interference with this miraculous mRNA combo vaccine.

Who decreased trust in science? Bhattacharya did.
This is absolutely terrible news.

With the shifting regulatory climate (i.e., antivax ratfuckery), Moderna has withdrawn their application for their eagerly anticipated COVID-flu combo vaccine. This vaccine offered better protection than getting each shot separately.

When Prasad says denying vaccinations for younger and healthier folks will generate "new data," he's saying we're the guinea pigs for a massive, gruesome public health experiment aimed at eventually eliminating vaccination programs for both present diseases (measles) and future ones (Covid-2X).
Just to be clear, it's not a joke when I say the Trump admin WANTS you to get Covid:

"Dr. Vinay Prasad described the new approach as a 'reasonable compromise' that will allow vaccinations in high-risk groups to continue while generating new data about whether they still benefit healthier people."
New Trump vaccine policy limits access to COVID shots
Federal health officials will no longer routinely approve annual COVID-19 shots for younger adults and children who are healthy.

Those communities are at risk of losing their local libraries and the history they hold.

So when we say “he’s shredding the Constitution” and “the Constitution is not operating now” —
well, Trump himself is actually admitting that he’s ignoring the Constitution.

(Not operating: Appropriations clause, Emoluments clause, 1A Press and Speech clauses, Due Process clauses…
WELKER: Your secretary of state says everyone who's here, citizens and non-citizens, deserve due process. Do you agree?

TRUMP: I don't know. I'm not a lawyer. I don't know.

WELKER: Don't you need to uphold the Constitution?
