Someone else mentioned all Coogler movies today, and I could be down with a BBQ and Black Cinema Day.
Happy go to a BBQ & watch Will Smith save the world day! Enjoy time off (if you have it. hope you have it!) & a nice long weekend. Most Definitely. “Love Jones” (1997) (the movie and the soundtrack album combined) almost single handedly motivated me to move to Chicago in my 20s in the late 90s. I wanted this lifestyle, wardrobe, love affair, friend group, the entire aesthetic, all set to this amazing neo soul sound 🤎🎶🙏🏾🎶✊🏾
