Good advice from @colindickey.com

A few years ago, on a 🇺🇸-funded project we called all our climate work, which was mostly solar-powered technology “energy” as “climate” was a bad word.

The price of eggs in the US is spiking, mostly due to #H5N1 bird flu. Solving the problem requires urgent, important communications from the CDC & FDA* and rapid development of research by the NIH**

* Currently paused by Executive Order
** Grant reviews now all canceled

The price of eggs have increased since Trump took office, in some places by as much as $2. Trump also scrapped an executive order that lowered the prices of medication obtained through Medicare and Medicaid.

One thing before tomorrow:

Use your local libraries.

Get your card.

Borrow books, manga, films, audios, ebooks.

Recommend titles for purchase (usually online).

Attend promoted activities.

Fill out those "How are we doing?" questionnaires.

Tell your kids that libraries are good.

They are.

A lot of folks I know have read On Tyranny, and you should. Also, I highly recommend that you also read On Freedom. We need to do more than resist what's wrong. We need to build a free society. And we have to be doing both all the time.
A president’s executive order cannot undo a law or a Supreme Court decision, let alone a provision of the Constitution. Forget that and you do have a dictatorship on day one.

I’m okay. I know that’s wild to say, but I am, and it’s because I found somewhere devoid of doomerism.

r/VoteDEM is a subreddit that was started in 2018 for the midterms. They currently have 61k members and it’s amazing.

There are calls to action and inspiring quotes and so much more.
