BREAKING: Our client Mario Guevara, an Emmy-winning journalist detained by ICE in retaliation for livestreaming law enforcement activity, will be deported tomorrow to El Salvador.

Mario and his family are being punished for his reporting. This cruelty is meant to stifle our free press.

Sanders: These projects have been appropriated. They were signed by a president. It is illegal to rescind them. And to say to people in Vermont, in New York and California, oh, you didn't vote for Donald Trump, we're going to take away funding that was supposed to go to your state… illegal

The "common good" is a set of shared values about what we owe one another as citizens who are bound together in the same society. A concern for the common good—keeping the common good in mind—is a moral attitude. It recognizes that we’re all in it together.

Good morning. Trump is protecting Epstein files. The confederacy lost and they were traitors, mRNA vaccines are the future, cops shouldn’t wear masks, Trump cut taxes for the rich and ripped benefits from the poor.

Have a weekend

Really shocked that an admin filled with podcasters, social media influencers, reality TV participants, indicted felons, crypto bros, drunks, Fox hosts, drug addicts, weirdos, and unqualified ass kissing toadies can’t keep their shit together for 24 consecutive hours.

Musk cannot be “turned”, “flipped”, “allied” with. He is a Nazi and he’s killed 300,000 people, mostly children. Anyone considering taking his political contributions or discussing allying with him has no moral compass nor should they be near power.

That any of us have to care about the messy breakup of these two massive narcissists — and that they both individually wield such massive power — is an indictment of our political system and further proves the poisonous influence of Big Money on our democracy.

GOP legislatures in Alaska, Nebraska, and Missouri are trying overturn voter-approved referenda requiring paid sick leave.

And in 9 other red states, Republican lawmakers are trying to restrict citizen-led ballot measures altogether.

The GOP can't stand the will of the people.

I have listened to and enjoyed @podsaveamerica.crooked.com for many years, and respected the guys knowledge and thinking, but when I hear:

BlueSky bad
A.I. good

I feel like I'm in opposite world. Really at least expected @jonlovett.bsky.social to have a more nuanced skepticism, especially on A.I.

I used to think that The Lottery was an exaggeration--no one would pick up the rocks to throw at their own family because the rules told them to. I've long since realized I was wrong.
