Why was David Marr so obsessed that Chris Hedges' tour was being organised by an anti-genocide advocacy group, but not at all concerned that the National Press Club is sponsored by the wealthiest, most complicit genocide enabling weapons manufacturers in the entire world? 🤷‍♂️

If the 99% sat home for 30 days, the 1% would fold.

They’re not shutting off their own power, water, or profits.

Y’all can choose 30 days of discomfort now or 30 years of it later.

That’s the decision being made right now.

Back in June @kyleatink.bsky.social and I introduced a Bill that would make housing a human right. It had support from former Labor & Liberal politicians. Now the ACT Greens are getting on board.

Ensuring everyone has access to a safe, affordable home should be above politics.

How about decades, if not hundreds of years of systemic child sexual abuse, and the bastard act of certain churches denying or minimising it?

And our legacy media needs to stop uncritically publishing dangerous propaganda from Netanyahu, while ignoring that he is subject to ICC warrants for war crimes and crimes against humanity.

That doesn't help 'social cohesion'.

This is the real problem. There's no balance!! The #ABC has Jillian Segal, Special Envoy to Combat Anti-Semitism, on to talk about it being time for action, and no mention of Israel's atrocious war crimes. None. It's only ever about Israel by the Gov't and the media.

He was a poor health minister.
In immigration/home affairs, he lost control of borders to organised crime.

A policy bum.

Policy bum Dutton has two big ideas. They're both in bad trouble
Peter Dutton has two big ideas: cut migration and build nuclear power plants. He's now abandoned one, and we know the other will be a disaster.

Thanks for sharing Mike

Albanese has been a major disappointment, a parliamentary lifer who for years chased the ambulance & then didn’t know what to do when he caught it.

Dutton is dangerously incompetent & cruel, he has a history of going MIA when the going gets tough.

Expect the same.

Niki Savva cuts to the chase. One of the very few Canberra journalists worth reading.
If Albanese wins the next election he should celebrate, then step aside
If Anthony Albanese loses next year, which once seemed improbable and now looks possible, he will shoulder much of the blame and his legacy will be trashed.
