Albanese doesn't want a thorough enquiry into the surroundings of the Bondi Beach massacre as it may reveal the extent of the influence Netanyahu and his goons have on Australian government policy at both the Federal and state levels.

Sales of BYD EVs are leaving the Nazi Musk's Teslas eating dust. The Tesla bubble will pop before too much longer.

Demented Donny's denials of health issues raise more questions than provide answers. Why does his mouth droop on one side? Why does he have problems with his right leg & his gait? Why can't he walk in a straight line? Why does he have to remain sitting so much? Why does he fall asleep so often?

I have never considered her the sharpest knife in the block but the media going into a frenzy because Susssan Ley referred to Ukraine being invaded by the "USSR" instead of "Russia", tells me it is a slow news day. 🙄
I am pretty sure Putin thinks he is President of the USSR anyway.

It is not happening as frequently as with Putin but those paying attention are seeing that people inconvenient to Putin's Apprentice Trump have a habit of suffering unexpected deaths. Time to start joining the dots.

In my salad days, New Year's Eve was one of celebration, lots of drinking and 'first-footing', rooms crowded with friends and walk-ins and noise and laughter. 🥳🥳🤪🥳
Last night the highlight of my New Year's Eve was putting out the bins. 😒How times change us.

"Philip Ruddock says John Howard and Mark Latham were wrong to remove lifetime pensions for federal MPs, because too many politicians use careers in Canberra “to serve their own interests.” Gaurdian Australia

I can assure him politicians have ALWAYS used their positions to serve only themselves.

45 minutes to midnight. My desires for 2026 are not too extravagant. I want the pedophile Trump to die a painful and lingering death in January followed by his MAGA cult imploding in a torrent of revelations about pedophilia, sex trafficking, corruption and treason.

Just think where we could be today if Albanese had balls. An effective NACC, gambling ads banned, a fairer tax system, major companies paying fair share of tax, etc. instead, we have a pale excuse of a government.

War Criminal Putin whines that Ukraine tried to kill him.
Well, boo-fucking-hoo. Even it if it did happen, Russia has tried to assassinate Zelenskyy on a number of occasions. They also continually target civilians and 'disappear' children. Killing Putin would be doing the world a favour.

Any security guarantees offered by the US to induce Ukraine to surrender are worthless. The US gave Ukraine "security guarantees" in 1994 as an inducement for it to hand over its nuclear weapons to Russia. Under Trump, the US is shamefully just a Russian asset. Biden was only a little better.

Those that are calling for a Royal Commission into the Bondi Beach massacre need to understand that politicians only hold such Commissions when they want to create an appearance of action while doing bugger all. History has proved that. Deaths in Custody, Robodebt etc. etc.

There's nothing like bombing the shit out of human beings on Christmas Day to prove your Christian worth, eh? Just don't mention the oil and mineral reserves of Nigeria.

OK, so the Poms won the Fourth Test. I'll give them their win but let's face it, it was more T20 than Test cricket. If these wickets and this style of play becomes the normal for Tests then it will be goodbye to the long form of the game.
December 27, 2025 at 6:48 AM
I am sure that the estimated 37.5 billion barrels of oil in Nigeria's reserves, the second largest reserves in Africa apart from Libya, has nothing at all to do with Trump sending the military there. 🤔

When politicians turn up at charity lunches with the media in tow, they are not there with charity in their hearts, are they?

Trump is already planning to move Christmas Day to 14 June.
December 25, 2025 at 7:55 PM
I am sorry but I am not impressed by politicians turning up on Christmas Day to hand out food to the disadvantaged. (There's always a camera present isn't there?) They should do their fucking day job and alleviate poverty. They have the power and the means, just not the political will.

Christmas Day in Australia, the one day of the year when there isn't enough fridge space, there isn't enough oven space, there isn't enough freezer space.

I wrote this some years ago and usually re-post it at this time:

'Tis the The Day. Happy Christmas to all. If you're enjoying one of the other religious holidays at this time then Joy to you. If you're not of any religion but just enjoying family, friends and the ending of another tumultuous year then my best wishes to you. For those struggling, I wish strength.

Labor's new gas reservation policy is going to apply only to new contracts. It is an admission that they intend to lock us into further fossil fuel use for the foreseeable future.

Times are dark, cold and hard. It's a more difficult time of the year than usual. I have read this week of several people who decided to pull the plug on themselves. Be kind. None of us truly knows what the other is going through.

The more we hear about National Party intransigence towards gun reform, the more we should appreciate the effort Tim Fischer put in to get his party to line up on the original gun reform. Watch Ley fold. This rabble that only gets 4% of the national vote should not be dictating government policy.

Although his sympathy for the plight of the Palestinians facing genocide barely registered on the needle, Albanese is paying the price for failing to give his enthusiastic support to Netanyahu's slaughter of civilians.
