I don't know why China would want to spy on me through Tiktok, but I do have some ideas of what MAGA might want to do.

“The New York Times collaborated with a white nationalist eugenicist hacker and agreed to keep his identity a secret to publish a Zohran Mamdani hit piece” is a way bigger story than “18 year old Zohran Mamdani ticked ‘African American’ on his Columbia application because he was a citizen of Uganda”

Alcatraz was a prison, a place for criminals.

Alligator Alcatraz is not a detention center for criminals, or even people awaiting trial. It is operating outside of the judicial process, which makes it a concentration camp, like Aushwitz.

Alligator Aushwitz.

I was supposed to get a Samsung TV through a Verizon promotion. Samsung sent me a broken TV, and says that I can return it but they won't replace it. What a crap compan Samsung is.

We don't talk enough about Home Depot's silence. I definitely don't want to shop at a store that is complicit in the abduction of its customers.

Is anyone talking about how the National Guard is already in place in CA to instantly escalate violence for the No Kings protests next week?

So you’re saying we could solve all the financial problems of 379 million of us and impact just 19 households. What an interesting fact. Fun little bit of trivia.
The 19 richest U.S. households saw a $1 trillion wealth increase in 2024, a rise that exceeds the size of Switzerland’s economy.

These 19 households now control $2.6 trillion in wealth — almost as much wealth as the bottom 50% of American households.

If this isn't an oligarchy, what is?

They brought Zelensky on TV to shame him, and when he refused to be shamed, accused him of putting on a show for TV.

There really is a Bible story for pretty much everything - when Israel asked for a king:

"He will take 1/10th of your flocks, and you shall be his slaves. And in that day you will cry out because of your king, whom you have chosen for yourselves; but the Lord will not answer you in that day."

Silly, that ruling obviously only applies to Democratic administrations, like the rest of the constitution.
Interestingly, in Loper Bright vs Raimondo, the conservative majority on SCOTUS ruled just last year that the judiciary can in fact overrule regulatory decisions made by the executive branch especially when those decisions are not specified by Congress.

I can't think of many examples of good outcomes throughout history when the ruling class makes it clear that laws are optional for them.
After a NY judge blocked DOGE access to Treasury data, Elon Musk just reposted a user who implied that the judge’s order should be defied ⬇️ 👇

“I don’t like the precedent it sets when you defy a judicial ruling, but I’m just wondering what other options are these judges leaving us…”

Exactly. If Whole Foods says no NLRB means contracts aren’t enforceable, then that means there is no such thing as an “illegal” strike.

okay, so, the thing is, the orderly, civil, and negotiated process by which unions strike is the compromise position and if you give up the compromise position, you give up the orderly, negotiated, civil parts of the bargain
Trump already empowering the worst bosses to just.. ignore labor law.

Whole Foods workers won their union vote, and now Whole Foods (owned by Jeff Bezos) is saying they simply won't recognize the vote because nobody is going to make them.

I think there's a fundamental misunderstanding of the positive public sentiment surrounding the CEO killing.

That positive reaction isn't about people wanting gun violence or murder, it's about people thirsting for accountability for rich ghouls.

And knowing our courts won't deliver it.
