has anyone ever found a fix for Unity's strict 8 key limitation in their Gradient tool? I get making a custom one is not an impossible endeavor but I'd really appreciate if they extended their functionality on the default one. It's been sorely needed in VFXGraph..

World-position-driven rotation with full control over one or 2 axis.
The first has a fixed axis, the other generates the axis from two vectors. Both deform world position and normals, useful for effects that need precise control over rotation in WPO #gamedev #VFX #realtimeVFX #UnrealEngine

Pro tip for dithered scenes: Lighting direction is key. Brighten surfaces facing the camera for readability, add subtle outlines for clarity, and test dithers on ramps to spot artifacts. Small details make a big difference.

You can smoothly mix gradients using Distance, Noise, and Power nodes to create a dynamically controllable falloff with texture variation. Replace the Noise node with any texture sample for more customization. Perfect for soft dissolves, fog, or stylized VFX #realtimeVFX #UnrealEngine #gamedev #VFX
