Reduce the CDL weight requirement from 26,000lbs to 4,000lbs and watch all these monster SUV grocery haulers disappear, while auto makers scramble to produce sensibly sized cars
pickup trucks for the average person should not have been allowed to advance past this. if you need anything bigger, you should have to provide some kind of documentation showing you have the license and need for special heavy machinery, otherwise you get the 1990 toyota hilux

Must include a Ukranian babushka's apartment where I apologetically cut in front of her fatback teevee on my way to the fire escape, dumpster jump to the alley trash kicking to back entrance of the resto kitchen

Absolutely deadly behavior causing another crash on Spruce Street at 5th st early this morning. This is on the busiest bike lane in Philly with over 1,500 riders who use it daily.
We deserve so much better than paint and flexposts, we deserve real protection.

Left NIMBYs are a perfect illustration of people who cause harm by simply refusing to learn how the sausage is made. You’re not going to overthrow capitalism by screaming about “developer shills,” you’re just going to keep more people out of homes.
If you oppose all housing construction out of fear of being a “developer shill”, you end up being a landlord shill, since landlords are the ones who directly profit from housing scarcity

If nothing else, building a ‘luxury’ apartment house means the wealthy person will have a shiny new apartment to buy instead of buying a brownstone to re-convert to single-family and kicking out the 5 or 6 families that live there. (We’re literally losing housing units due to this!)
