ICE vehicles waste a whopping 80% of the energy in their fuel. Electric vehicles are propelled by entirely different mechanisms. Energy enters the vehicle as electricity, which directly powers the drivetrain: EVs need not convert one form of energy to another resulting in much higher efficiency.

People across Britain are feeling the crunch from rising household bills, and it’s only going to get harder over winter.

That's why I signed this petition demanding the UK Government stops greedy gas from ripping us off. Will you join me? → act.gp/45Ue4mV
Lower our energy bills!
Gas companies are raking in high profits while our household bills go up. I've had enough, haven't you? Let's make the UK Government reign in greedy gas for good.

There’s a persistent myth that new solar farms don’t really help tackle climate change because panels are “made with coal” and “never pay back” their carbon debt.

This is simply false.

- UN: solar ~8x cleaner than gas, ~19x than coal per kWh
- panels repay CO2 in 4 months; save 57x over life

The UK's Climate Change Committee dresses up delay as strategy. Its Net Zero 2050 plan favours political expediency over action, avoids societal transformations such as major shifts in transport, depends heavily on techno-fixes, & opts for short-term convenience instead of long-term climate justice.

Pace now is everything. Fossil fuel states and corporations, aided by populist demagogues, are pulling out all the stops to defend their profits. At the same time, climate impacts are worsening rapidly.

We have the tools to save ourselves. We need to use them, fast and furiously.
Wind and solar combined were at 1% in 2005. They will hit 20% by 2026

The renewables revolution is unfolding live, fast and furiously: It's exponential, global, and this decade. Just look at the data and do the math
