From what I can make out the wind farm was commissioned in 2020.
Just 6 years and they are repowering it???
The existing turbines are Nordex, but no information regarding what the replacements are.
The Prairie Hill Wind Farm in #Mart, Texas, is replacing all 100 wind turbines with new, more efficient models. INFO: kwtx.com/2026/02/06/100-wind-turbines-be-taken-down-replaced-mart-texas/

Plenty of moronic comments on this weather article (the BBC enabled comments).

I wonder what would cause drought and then flooding in just a few months, with reservoirs nearly empty, then full within a month?🤔

You won't get an answer in those comments.

When will it stop raining in the UK?
Some parts of the UK have already seen more rain than they'd normally expect in the whole of February - so when will the wet weather end?

This may not seem new, given the Atlantic wrote about Substack having a Nazi problem in 2023, but it provides a current snapshot.

Useful if you’re a comms/PR person whose senior leader wants a substack.

Ghost and buttondown seem to be the popular alternatives.

The sedan finished its cold weather tests at -40 C and uses CATL’s Naxtra batteries.

This is another testament to the growing commercialization of sodium batteries.

It's a short comedy about a tiny island claimed to be territory of Denmark and the UK.

Immediately reminded me of Greenland.
I've listened to it before but had forgotten about it.

Look at the article photo, as well as the energy store (coal mountain) on the left, the power station is creating an ash hill at the bottom right.
This isn't scientific but the volume difference between the two is CO2 and other pollutants put into the environment.
