Every major game these days makes you agree to a privacy policy saying they get to collect and use your data however they see fit in order to play. It’s so gross and unnecessary to have to agree to this after you’ve paid for the game, especially with single player offline experiences.

It’s so fitting that the longest day of the year is also one of the darkest. There’s not even a hint of a break in cloud coverage. Just one giant morass of gloom in the sky.

Whoever greenlights the content for Apple+ knows what’s up. Hands down, collectively the best shows on any service. Sure there isn’t a lot of it, but so far most of everything I’ve seen is really good.

Blue Prince is keeping me sane these days. Great puzzle game on par and in the vein of Myst, Return to Obra Din, Witness, and Outer Wilds. It balances luck based randomization with exploration, mystery, and a complex layering of varied puzzle types. It’s addictive in the best way possible.

After someone you love dies, you have these moments where you forget they’re dead and think for a split second that you’re going to tell them about something. Then it hits that you will never see them again and it hurts all over. I’m having these moments all the time now, just not about a person.

I see they’ve continued to deviate from the source material in bad and unnecessary ways in season 2 of The Last of Us. I don’t think they need to adhere to it exactly, but the ways they choose to deviate often don’t make sense to me. The Bill and Frank episode being the exception here.

This is a big deal. Spread the word. But it’s tiny compared to the totality of what’s happening at NIH. Cure Research for all cancers, Alzheimer’s, everything is being gutted. Intentionally. It’s all getting burned to the ground but the news isn’t getting out. The new cures won’t be there for you.

If I went to a major event where the entire itinerary got cancelled, the staff had all been fired, all security measures were disabled, and then everyone got locked inside the building with no food and a bunch of guys with guns, I would probably be pretty concerned about what was about to happen.
