Oh, it's phenomenal! I'm tempted to read the source material, but I don't think I'd be able to see the characters as anything other than their actors -- they're just so good!

I'm really digging my new preliminary process for making paintings. I do a medium-loose drawing on my iPad, project it, then tighten it up with an oil-based pencil on the panel.
It's a fun way to incorporate my drawing skills and stay loose before I smoosh paint all over it.

I'm about halfway through the P's in my Great Music Tagging Endeavor. The T's loom on the horizon and they scare me.
But! I've managed to remove about 70 GB of music -- mostly duplicates and some audiobooks that I don't need to keep anymore. I'm down to a slim 65 days of continual music!

God, I hate the discourse. I hate it, I hate, I hate it... but I do feel compelled to defend my life choices.
So...
Yes, comics is a visual medium. So is cinema, and I don't see anybody saying screenwriters are superfluous.
It's a collaborative medium. There are no weak links. The end.

One thing I've noticed about Albania is: driving doesn't seem to have any real rules. People drive fast and drive close. Lane markers are mere suggestions.
Our host actually told us that, until a few years ago, the idea of wearing a seatbelt just meant you weren't an expert driver.

Thank you! We made it into Tirana (so that I could buy some art supplies) and made it back to Durres with only *minor* complications. It's been a very long day, though.
