Does this pattern (whatever it is) continue? If not, when does it first falter and how did you find the breakdown? If so, how might one justify it to a middle/high school student?

I've been making CII (Correct, Incorrect, Incomplete) tasks to deepen students' understanding of particular topics. First, they discuss the Correct work in groups and I ask them questions.
