Making a #GeoGebra guess the the trig function #mathgame. A bit stumped by the scoring. Easy to measure how far off at multiple points. Decided to use actual error instead of percentage, bc when the function is close to zero that can be huge. Ideas, anyone?

Education colleagues: I am partnering with middle- and high-school math teachers in DE, PA, and MD to look at how belonging-supportive instruction shapes students' math experiences (see infographic). Teachers can participate in 2025 or early 2026. Please share w/ teachers who may be interested!

I have two books by an author, Keh-Gong Shih, pub in 1996 that are just brilliant! But they are definitely lost. The first is PIctorial Mathematics: Patterns. It is fabulous! full of images like this. He created his own software called Mathgraf which is used to generate the images. #mathart #mtbos

Giant cardioid: version 2.5. Version 1.0 was made using Pex tubing and grommet tape. Version 2.0 was made from laser-cut pieces. The wood was too fragile, and it broke during construction. In version 2.5, I made the pieces wider and I used thicker wood. Success, I'd say! The diameter is about 5 ft.

@denisegaskins.com site wouldn't let me leave this comment: I don't get why there's a token on each end of a row of 20. Maybe put the token on the card you played that made 20?

Didn't remember this one! Kamii's games are always so elegant.

My friend showed me this daily web game: Which Year? It shows five photos, and you have to guess the year for each one. You can get four free digits with no penalty, but each digit can be used only once (in other words, you can get the thousands, hundreds, tens, or ones each only once). whichyr.com
