My eldest boy turns 24 today. Remembering one of my finest parenting moments when he was 7 or 8. His younger sister had been torturing him on a long car ride (almost touching him). In exasperation he yelled out - you’re, you’re - a republican!!

Swastikas and nooses aren’t “potentially divisive” - they are symbols of racist and antisemitic hate, violence, and genocide. By no longer classifying them as hate symbols, the Coast Guard is doing nothing less than normalizing violent extremism.
